Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know you’re real?
My website is hosted on the SquareSpace platform and checkout is handled by Stripe and Paypal, all of whom have comprehensive buyer protection programs. You would have recourse with any of those companies if you do not receive the service you expect. You can also read my clients’ reviews on Facebook and Google. If you have any other doubts, feel free to contact me.

How is the coaching session conducted?
The session is conducted by videoconference. I usually use Zoom, but can also use Google Meet, WhatsApp videochat, or Facebook Messenger videochat if you prefer.

How many sessions do I need?
Usually one 50-minute coaching session is enough to evaluate your case and conduct mock interviews. However, 30% of my clients order a second or third session for additional mock interview practice.

How soon after I place my order can we have the session?
I usually have availability within 2-3 days. You can see my appointment calendar when you start the checkout process. If you want to verify my availability on a given day, you can also contact me.

What are the payment options?
The checkout system on my website allows Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, and PayPal. You can also contact me to make other payment arrangements, including CashApp, Paypal.me, TransferWise, Google Pay, Bitcoin, or Venmo. Depending on your country, you may need to contact your bank to authorize an international transaction on your credit/debit card.

How soon before my visa interview should I do the coaching session?
It’s important that I review your DS-160 and be able to suggest changes. For this reason, I recommend having our session at least 10 days before your visa interview (or fingerprinting) so that we have time to change your DS-160. If we have the session before you submit your DS-160, that’s even better.

What nationalities and visa types do you have experience with?
When I was a Visa Officer, I had experience adjudicating almost all visa types (immigrant and non-immigrant). I worked in Mexico, India, Pakistan, Argentina, Fiji, South Korea, China, Singapore, Nigeria, Croatia, Spain, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, and Chile. My clients whose visas were APPROVED have the following nationalities: Afghanistan, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Brasil, Burma, Burundi, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cote d’Ivoire, Czechia, Djibouti, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Ghana, Haiti, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jamaica, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Liberia, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Virgin Islands, Yemen, and Zambia.
